There is no open flame, which removes the biggest candle-fire risk. Place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface and follow the instructions.
Any standard jar candle works — no special candle needed. Set it on the dish, switch on, and the bulb warms it from above, flame-free.
Shipping is free on all orders. There is no minimum order value and no shipping charge is added at checkout.
Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–2 business days of being placed.
You have 30 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return, a replacement, or a refund.

Product details
A crowned skull candle warmer lamp on solid wood
This gothic candle warmer sets a crowned resin skull over your jar candle and stands the whole piece on a block of solid wood. Light comes up through the eyes and the nose, the crown is openwork with beads and points picked out in detail, and the wood base keeps the piece from reading like a costume shop prop. It is the dressed up one in the GODONLIF skull family.
What the crown and the wood base add
- The crown. A tall openwork crown sits on the skull, so the piece reads regal before it reads spooky.
- Resin shade on solid wood. Two materials instead of one, and the wood sits well against dark furniture.
- Three openings lit. Both sockets and the nose carry the glow, not just the eyes.
- Flame free. The scent comes up without a lit wick and without a trail of soot.
- The lightest of our four skulls. About 1.2 kg, in a 28 x 16 x 16 cm box (11 x 6.3 x 6.3 in).
Center a jar candle on the wood base under the skull and switch on. The heat works down into the top of the wax and carries the scent through the room. It looks right on a bar cart, an entry table, or a holiday dinner setting where you want one strange, good looking object.

Frequently asked questions
What makes a candle warmer gothic rather than just black?
The detail work, not the color. This gothic candle warmer wears a tall openwork crown with beads and points picked out, on a resin skull standing on a block of solid wood. It reads regal before it reads spooky — a gothic table lamp that warms a jar candle instead of lighting a room.
Where does the heat come from on a candle warmer with a wood base?
From above. The skull sits over your jar candle and the heat works down into the top of the wax. The solid wood block underneath is a stand, not the heat source — you centre your jar on it, under the skull.
Will this gothic candle warmer shut down on its own after a few hours?
No. It has no timer and no dimmer, so it stays on until you switch it off by hand. Those controls belong to our classic lamp series, not to the crowned skull. Make turning it off part of leaving the room, as with any heated appliance.
What surfaces can you put a candle warmer on when it stands on wood?
Flat, stable ones, set back from the edge. It weighs about 1.2 kg, so a crowded entry table or the rim of a bar cart is a poor spot. Leave clear space above it too, since the skull sits over your jar.
How do you dust the openwork crown without scratching it?
Unplug it and let it cool, then work a soft dry brush through the crown and wipe the skull with a dry cloth. The beads and points collect dust because the crown is openwork. Do not try to pull the crown off — treat it as part of the piece.
