There is no open flame, which removes the biggest candle-fire risk. Place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface and follow the instructions.
Any standard jar candle works — no special candle needed. Set it on the dish, switch on, and the bulb warms it from above, flame-free.

A rustic candle warmer lamp in leather and wood
The GODONLIF wooden candle warmer lamp warms a jar candle from above with a bulb instead of a match. A cone-shaped leather shade sits over the candle. A wood base holds it steady. The retro outline is quiet enough to leave on display. It is built for people who want the scent of a candle with no fire in the room.
Why people love this leather candle warmer lamp
- No open flame. Bulb heat releases the scent, so there is no fire and no smoke.
- Leather over wood. The soft shade and the wood base read like decor, not like an appliance.
- Retro cone shade. The conical-hat silhouette is the whole look. Simple, and a little old-fashioned.
- Two bulbs included. Both ship in the box with the lamp.
- Made to be seen. This one earns a spot on a console, a desk, or an open shelf.
Set your jar candle on the base and switch the lamp on. The wax melts from the top down and the scent carries. The leather tone and the wood grain suit japandi and wabi-sabi interiors. Once the lights go down, the glow under the shade reads like a wooden night lamp.

Frequently asked questions
Where is the switch on a candle warmer lamp with a pull chain?
On the socket, not on the base. This model has a black switch on the side of the lamp holder with a brass bead chain hanging from it, so you pull the chain to turn it on and off. The wooden tray underneath has no knob or button at all.
Can you leave candle warmers on all night, or does this wooden one switch itself off?
It does not switch itself off: this model has no timer and no dimmer, so do not leave it running all night. Pull the brass chain before you go to sleep. Nothing burns while it runs, but the bulb still puts out heat, so it should not stay on unattended overnight.
Can I use this wooden candle warmer lamp as a night lamp?
You can, as long as you want atmosphere rather than reading light. The glow under the leather shade is warm and points down at the candle, so it works beside a bed. We have not measured its brightness, so do not plan on it lighting a book.
Is the octagonal tray on this wooden candle warmer lamp solid wood?
Yes. The tray is pieced together from strips of light and dark wood, chopping-board style, with a raised rim around it and three black cone feet underneath. The feet lift it off the surface, so wipe the table clean before you set it down.
Is the leather shade fixed to the arm, or does it hang?
It hangs. On this rustic candle warmer lamp the horizontal arm does not bolt straight onto the lamp holder; a braided fabric cord drops from the end of the arm and carries the socket and the leather shade, so the shade sits a little below the arm.
