There is no open flame, which removes the biggest candle-fire risk. Place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface and follow the instructions.
Any standard jar candle works — no special candle needed. Set it on the dish, switch on, and the bulb warms it from above, flame-free.

Product details
A hand-painted ceramic candle warmer lamp, not another plain dome
The shade on this ceramic warmer is painted rather than printed: daisies with inked outlines, one open rose, and blocks of orange carried around the cone. Ceramic stays muted until the bulb is on, and then the pattern lights from the inside and the colours go warm. Underneath, your candle sits in the round recess of a square wood base while the heat comes down from above. The wick is never lit, so there is no flame, no smoke and no soot.
What sets this hand painted lamp apart
- Painted ceramic, not a decal. The florals sit on the ceramic itself, so a hand painted ceramic lamp shows its outlines and shading once the bulb is behind them.
- Two looks, one lamp. Off it is a quiet cone; on, the flowers glow and the orange reads as amber.
- No open flame. The candle is warmed, never lit, so there is nothing to blow out and no smoke in the room.
- Adjustable brightness and timer. Bring the light up while the wax opens, take it down to a low glow afterwards, and set a run time so the lamp switches itself off.
- Ceramic shade, wood base. A square light-wood block with a turned recess that keeps the jar centred under the heat.
Off, it passes for a hand painted table lamp on a side table, which is why it survives daylight as well as evening. It plugs in like any ceramic electric candle warmer, but the heat comes from a bulb overhead rather than a hot plate underneath, so the jar stays clean. Center the candle in the recess, switch on, and let the wax set again before you lift it away. It ships in a 26 x 16 x 16 cm box (10.2 x 6.3 x 6.3 in) at about 1.2 kg (2.6 lb).

Frequently asked questions
Is the shade on the ceramic candle warmer lamp hand-painted?
Yes. The pattern is painted onto the ceramic, and the brushed shading and inked outlines show in the daylight photos. The flowers are painted, not printed: daisies, one open rose, and blocks of orange between them. Unlit, the colours sit flat; with the bulb behind the shade the outlines and the shading come forward and the orange warms up.
Does the ceramic candle warmer lamp have adjustable brightness and a timer?
Both adjust. Push the light up while the wax opens and the scent comes through, drop it to a low glow for the evening, and set a run time so the lamp turns itself off. With a painted shade the low setting is worth having: at full brightness the pattern reads as colour, at low it reads as a lit object.
Is the base of the ceramic candle warmer lamp real wood?
Yes. The supplier lists the materials as ceramic and solid wood, and the grain runs right across the block in the photos. It is a square light-wood base with a shallow round recess turned into the top, so the candle drops in and stays centred under the shade instead of drifting while the wax softens.
Which decorating styles does a ceramic candle warmer lamp suit?
Busy ones, mostly. The painted florals land straight in boho decor and in maximalist decor, where a plain white dome would simply disappear. In maximalist home decor it is the small object that pulls a loud shelf together, and the palette of orange, cream and inky outlines also sits well in chinoiserie decor next to blue-and-white china.
Does it work in cottagecore or grandmillennial rooms?
Yes, and it is one of the easier pieces to place. Painted flowers on ceramic are the backbone of cottagecore decor, and the same shade reads as grandmillennial style beside chintz, a skirted table and a ruffled lamp. For dark cottagecore decor keep the brightness low so the orange goes rust; in a maximalist bedroom it doubles as a nightstand lamp with a job to do.
