There is no open flame, which removes the biggest candle-fire risk, and the built-in timer switches it off automatically. As with any lamp, place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
Any standard jar candle works — no special candle needed. Set it on the dish, switch on, and the bulb warms it from above, flame-free.
Shipping is free on all orders. There is no minimum order value and no shipping charge is added at checkout.
Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–2 business days of being placed.
You have 30 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return, a replacement, or a refund.
We do not charge a restocking fee on any return, for any reason.

The classic way to warm a candle
This black candle warmer lamp from GODONLIF sits on any tabletop and gently melts your favourite jar candle from above with a warm bulb — no flame, no smoke, no soot. You get the candle’s full fragrance and a cosy pool of light, and your candle lasts far longer because the wax melts evenly instead of burning down a tunnel. Its fluted amber-glass shade gives this vintage candle warmer lamp a warm, antique-style glow that looks like decor, not a gadget.

Frequently asked questions
Does the black candle warmer lamp have a dimmer and a 12-hour timer?
Yes. This is a candle lamp warmer with timer control and a dimmable bulb. The timer ends a run after 12 hours and switches the lamp off on its own, and dimming does two jobs at once: a softer glow, and slower melting. Dim it down when the wax melts too fast.
Why is my candle warmer not melting evenly under a black candle warmer lamp?
Usually placement, not the lamp. Centre the jar directly under the shade so the heat covers the whole wax surface, use a jar narrow enough to sit fully under it, and turn the brightness up, since brightness is heat. Top-down warming melts only what it actually covers.
Why does the black candle warmer lamp not smell as strong as burning the candle?
Because the scent comes off warm wax, not off a flame, so the strength tracks how wide and how warm your melt pool is. Turn the brightness up, centre the jar so the whole surface melts, and give it a few minutes. A full, evenly melted pool throws the most fragrance.
Does the black candle warmer lamp leave black soot on the candle glass?
No. Black soot on candle glass comes from a burning wick, and nothing is lit here, so the jar stays clear and your walls and ceiling stay clean. Warmed scented wax still puts fragrance into the air, so air the room out the way you would anyway.
Is the black candle warmer lamp metal or glass, and does the shade get hot?
Both: a painted metal base with a glass shade. The shade sits right next to the bulb, so yes, it gets hot. Handle the lamp by its base while it is running, and let everything cool down before you move the shade or change a bulb.
