There is no open flame, which removes the biggest candle-fire risk. Place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface and follow the instructions.
Any standard jar candle works — no special candle needed. Set it on the dish, switch on, and the bulb warms it from above, flame-free.

A farmhouse candle warmer lamp with a linen-look shade
This farmhouse candle warmer lamp looks like a small table lamp until you notice the jar under it. A beige, linen-look fabric shade hangs from a dark metal post that rises straight up and turns into a short arm at the top. The oval wood base has a shallow round seat that keeps the candle centred. The bulb inside the shade warms the wax from above, so the scent comes up with no open flame and the wick stays unlit.
What makes it a rustic candle warmer lamp
- Fabric, not glass. As a candle warmer lamp with fabric shade, it lets the light through the weave as a soft glow instead of a bright spot.
- A shade you can raise or lower. A knurled collar partway up the post adjusts the height, so taller and shorter jars both sit at a sensible distance from the bulb.
- Dimmer and timer. Run it bright while the wax opens, drop it to a low glow for the evening, and set a run time so it switches itself off.
- No open flame. This candle warmer lamp with shade melts wax with a bulb, so nothing burns and there is no flame to watch.
- Wood, dark metal and beige cloth. Three plain materials and no ornament, which is what lets a rustic candle warmer pass as furniture rather than a gadget.
Put it where a small lamp would go anyway: a nightstand, an entry table, a shelf by the window. Switched off, it passes for a candle lamp with shade. Switched on, it works as a farmhouse candle warmer and lights the corner too. It ships in a 23 x 14 x 14 cm box (9.1 x 5.5 x 5.5 in) at about 0.8 kg (1.8 lb), easy to wrap as a gift.

Frequently asked questions
Does the farmhouse candle warmer lamp use a flame?
No. The bulb inside the fabric shade warms the top of the wax from above, so the wick is never lit: no open flame and no smoke. The lamp itself gets warm while it runs, so stand it on a flat surface, keep it clear of curtains and paper, and switch it off when you leave the room.
Can I adjust the height of the shade?
Yes. A knurled collar partway up the post lets you raise the shade for a taller jar or lower it for a shorter one, so the bulb sits at a sensible distance above the wax.
Does it have a dimmer and a timer?
Yes, both. Turn the brightness up while the wax opens and down to a low glow afterwards, and set a run time so the lamp switches itself off. The controls are on the cord; there are no knobs on the wood base.
What is the shade made of, and how do I clean it?
Fabric, in a beige linen-look weave with an uneven, textured finish. To clean it, unplug the lamp, let the bulb cool, and dust the shade with a soft dry cloth rather than washing it.
Is a candle included?
No candle is included, but two bulbs come in the box. The red jar in the photos is a styling prop, so bring the jar candle you already like and set it in the round seat on the base.
